Now the restaurant have moved to 22 Phan Chu Trinh street and taken after by her sons. Thanks to their heirloom recipe, 'Madame Buoi' chicken rice has been famous ever since. The recipe includes steamed rice, boiled chicken and herbs. It is quite similar to other restaurants' recipe, however, they only choose chickens that are raised in the garden, rice that is reserved for at least a year and herbs that are ordered directly from Tra Que herb village to make the chicken rice.

When you order, the seller will put the cake on a little bowl, put some filling on and finish with chilli sauce, herbs, green onions and pepper on top. You will eat 'banh beo' with a special 'bamboo knife' which differentiate 'banh beo' Hoian from the others.
