On 2nd September 1969, Ho Chi Minh President, the venerable leader of Vietnam, passed away, which left the pain for not only Vietnamese people but also international friends. Ho Chi Minh's body is kept in state in an impressively austere, Russian-style mausoleum.

Nowadays, Ho Chi Minh mausoleum is one of the attractive destinations in Hanoi. Many people, especially Vietnamese people in all the country come here to visit Ho Chi Minh’s body because they think this is a customary, a traditional activities. A lot of foreign visitors when going to the mausoleum feel that: there are not many leaders who are admired as much as Ho Chi Minh president.

Beside the visiting activities, many culture and political activities are taken place in Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and Ba Dinh square, such as: Mass public notice, Group admission, Party admission…

However, you can’t visit the mausoleum everyday.

-    From April to October: 07:00 – 10:30 am (Saturday, Sunday and anniversary days: 07:00 – 11:00)
