Why do we have to drink chemical coffee?

Though I am no coffeaholic, I've recently started to drink coffee because I've seen so many advertisements about non chemical coffee out there. That's why I decided to start my exploration of Vietnamese coffee.

I've visited plenty of coffee shops which are said to have clean and non chemical coffee. However the tastes and prices at those coffee shops are much different ( about 10.000 - 12.000 VND / each ). Some sellers said that they used pure coffee, however, they had to add on some spices to make it tastier. Whereas, the others insisted " 'Clean' means when they roast the coffee beans without adding any spices to preserve its orginal flavour." and when I tried their coffee, I really had to admit that they were right, it tasted way better.

Clean coffee is only a litte more expensive than chemical coffee and most importantly, they aren't harmful for your health. Then why do we have to pay and drink low quality coffee ?

I would like to share my tips to differentiate between high quality coffee and low quality coffee.

First, about the ingredient to make coffee. Put some coffee powder in your palm, if you see glittery black powder, it is caramel powder. The larger the ratio of caramel powder, the lower the quality of coffee is.

A good cup of coffee is when you pour hot water in the coffee pot, the first coffee beans will turn into deep brown, then get lighter after time. On the other hand, the low quality coffee beans usually get more and more black.
