Nha Trang is a seaside town, also the capital city of Khanh Hoa Province- on the South Central Coast of Vietnam. Nha Trang is becoming increasingly popular in recent years because of its pristine beach, best scuba diving centre of Vietnam as well as lots of interesting places and delicious food to enjoy.

Nha Trang has consistently maintained its position as one of the most beautiful bays of the world. The town is about 450km north of Saigon and 1200km south of Hanoi. With the 4-km- long main strip of beaches, Nha Trang Bay covers the area of 405km2 including 19 large and small islands. As viewed from high above, the bay looks like the aquamarine stone sparkling in the sunshine, bounded by miles of smoothly golden sands.

By plane

Tourist can choose one of aviation branches such as Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar, Vietjet air departing from Saigon, Hanoi, Danang to Cam Ranh international airport with the price of 700,000VND/ one way from Saigon (50 minutes), 1,500,000VND from Hanoi (1 hours and 50 minutes).   

By train

Nha Trang is a stop on the main railway- line connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The railway station is close to the cathedral in the northern part of town.

Dien Khanh Citadel

Situated on Dien Khanh Townlet, Dien Khanh District, Khanh Hoa Province, Dien Khanh Citadel was built by Nguyen Anh in 1793 with an area of 36,000 square meters according to the Vauban military architecture which was popular in Western Europe in 17th – 18th centuries. Dien Khanh is one of the oldest citadels in the south of Vietnam and it is one of the precious vestiges for studying ancient citadels.
