Son Doong cave through lens of the explorers

Son Doong Cave is in the heart of the Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park in the Quang Binh province of Central Vietnam.

Son Doong Cave is in the heart of the Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park in the Quang Binh province of Central Vietnam. Only recently explored in 2009-2010 by the British Cave Research Association, the cave has only been open to the public since 2013

Coming across the judges of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, relaxing on silky sands and contemplating a magnificent beauty of the sun are unforgettable impressions to few lucky expedition to Son Doong Cave.

In the early morning, the river cross Phong Nha village is quite peaceful. Then, some boats start to ferry passengers across the river, which rouses water surface. In the point, tourists will be visited Thien Duong Cave, which is the most easy cave to approach in Phong Nha Ke Bang cave system.

On the May and June of every year, around village will be covered by golden rice fields.

Expedition to Son Doong used to spend seven days and six nights, but before you have approached Son Dong Cave, you have to stop at the first point, En Cave. In here, you have a dinner and a night camping. The cave so massive that a Boeing 747 could fly through.

 Inside of En Cave is a blue stream. You can see a fanciful moment when the light of the sun harmonises water surface and smoke of campfire. You should spend two days for En Cave.

Then, tourists have to deeply explore and gradually approach with Son Doong Cave. In here, you will be surprised by the beauty of nature in sinkholes. You will have the third night of the expedition in there.

Under the eyes of adventurers, the ray of light shines through canopy of leaves making fanciful beauty and it is very difficult to find the beauty in anywhere else.

At night, you will see the beauty of sky with variety of stars only on the sinkhole.

With the instruction of tour-guide , specially Deb Limbert, a British scientist, you will come across craggy terrains to go safely inside of the cave.
