Thang den – a specialty in Ha Giang

Ha Giang is famous for the beautiful landscape and friendly people. Moreover, there are a specialty that visitor should try when visiting Ha Giang.

Thang den is a nosh of Ha Giang people which is eaten with friend in the winter of Dong Van town. It is really a specialty of Ha Giang province.

Thang den is made from glutinous rice flour. It’s up to each one’s taste, they will add bean- filling or not. Thang den balls are more than fingertip of size that are put in the bowl of sugar water, coconut milk and ginger of mixture. In that bowl there are fried peanuts also which make Thang den more and more attractive.
