Vietnam is listed in top ten most favorite destinations of Chinese tourists

Vietnam is listed in seventh position in the rank of the most favorite countries of Chinese tourists with over 600,000 tourists in the second quarter of 2016.

Vietnam is listed in seventh position in the rank of the most favorite countries of Chinese tourists with over 600,000 tourists in the second quarter of 2016.

China Tourism Bureau has just announced the most favorite destinations of Chinese people in the second quarter of 2016. On the rank, Thailand is the first one with about 2.4 million tourists in the quarter. The next is Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia respectively.

In particular of Southeast Asia area, Vietnam only follows Thailand in the rank.

According to General Department of Statistics, Vietnam welcomed over 2.2 million Chinese tourists in the first ten months of the year, increasing 55% compared with the same period last year.

A lot of Chinese tourists choose abroad travelling because the cost for domestic travel is expensive and the quality is not good.

From fourth quarter of the year, Chinese tourists travelling abroad are increasing after National Holidat from 1st October to 7th October, according to China News. Wei Changren, the director of a travel company, said that nowadays, income of Chinese people is higher, so their travelling demands in abroad are also increasing.

The rank is expected to change considerately because many countries will be free visa for Chinese tourists. In the golden week in the year, Morocco, Tonga and Tunisia welcomed 400% increasing of Chinese tourist, according to the figure of Dongxing Securities. Ctrip tourist magazine gave the figure of over 2 million Chinese people booking tourist to 1230 destinations in 68 countries in the world in November, 2016.
